Ever feel like Clark Griswold?

Jul 22, 2021

Have you seen European Vacation?  (Yes, the one with Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold who takes his fam on a journey through Europe.)

(If you haven't, please stop reading this & watch it immediately... 2-hour pause.)

One of my favorite parts is when they're stuck on the roundabout in London.

Clark merges onto the roundabout with, "I guess what we do is just drive around the circle here..."

Followed by an excited, "Hey, look kids!  There's Big Ben, & there's Parliament!"

So much excitement at first.  I mean, those are the two "need to see" landmarks in London, right?

But eventually, the excitement diminishes.

As simple as it seems, Clark is unable to exit the roundabout, & each time they pass Big Ben & Parliament, his "Kids...Big Ben!  Parliament!" is less enthusiastic.

Day turns to night, & Clark's attempts to exit stop.  While the rest of his family is sleeping, he madly mutters, "It's amazing.  I cannot get left!" through tears.

Do you ever feel like that about life?

There are amazing things in your life, right?   So much to be grateful for!  Priceless relationships, experiences & possessions.

But...

Does it ever feel like you've reached a certain point & you're grateful, but it feels like there should be more?  Yet you're not quite sure what that "more" is?

Maybe it feels safer to stay on the roundabout.  Maybe it's just familiar.

Maybe you simply don't know how to get off the roundabout to find out?

Maybe it's kind of like a trip to London.  You made it!  Somewhere you've always wanted to go!  You're thrilled to see Big Ben & Parliament.

But something may be nagging at you...It seems like someone suggested visiting the Tower of London, right?  Wasn't a pint with fish & chips at a pub on your bucket list?

But is it worth continuing to try merging to the left?  To continue trying to exit the roundabout?

Is it worth renting a car & learning to navigate roundabouts & the left lane on your own?  Is that the goal you ultimately want to achieve?

Or is your goal to experience everything London has to offer?  As if it's the only trip to London you'll ever have?

I generally take sightseeing buses for this very reason.  My goal is to experience it all...not to learn how to drive like a Brit. Maybe my goal will change at some point, but in the meantime, I'll go with a guide who can help me experience it faster than I would alone.

So if you plan to travel to London & would appreciate some tips, I'm here for you. (Seriously...London is amazing.)

If London's nowhere on your radar, but you would appreciate some guidance & support in other aspects of your life...as if it's the only one you have...because it is...I'm here for you. 🙂

And ONE way I'm here for you is my new, free, 5-day workshop I'll be hosting Monday, August 2nd to Friday, August 6th.  One hour(ish) per day for 5 days.

So if you're interested in gaining more clarity around the life you want, you can get it in the workshop.  And if you're unable to join live, no problem.  A workbook will be provided, & recordings will be available for everyone who registers.

Register HERE if you're interested!

Each session will be interactive with Q&A to ensure your questions specific to YOUR journey are answered.

Would love to see you there!

P.S. Do you know anyone else who may want more clarity about life?  Anyone else who's trying to make some decisions about the next steps?  Please share with a friend, colleague, family member, or all of the above!  It's virtual, free, & all are welcome!
